Cottonwood Root Katsin Mana Kachina by Hopi Carver Loren Phillips.

This Kachina appears with the A-Ha Kachina who is one of the Chief Kachinas who appear during the Powamu or Bean Dance in February. Her presence is a prayer for corn which is an integral part of ceremonies for the Hopi people as well as other food. This carving is 14 inches.
