The Ogre Woman are accompanied by several other Ogres, who tell the children what punishments they may face if they don’t do as Soyok asks. Children are told the Ogres can swallow them whole unless they are to be good children. In most ceremonies, the little girls grind corn and the boys hunt mice. At the end of the ceremonies, the end of the ceremony, the men of the village take the food the Ogres gathered from the children. This carving is 12 x 8 inches.
