Cottonwood Root Mud Thrower Kachina.

This kachina only appears during the fast parade. He carries clay which he forms into balls and hurls them at spectators & racers to catch their attention, so the villagers have a better chance to win the foot race. This carving is 15 and 3/4 inches.
