Cuervo y Sobrinos pays tribute to its longtime and loyal customer Ernest Hemingway, celebrated writer and authentic legend of the 20th century, with the launch of a new collection of 3 watches entirely dedicated to the writer, following an acclaimed first limited edition series that was a great success. Under the patronage of John Hemingway, grandson of the writer, the watch collection was launched in Key West, Florida for the Hemingway Days 2023, the annual celebration salutes the Nobel Prize–winning author’s writing achievements and enjoyment of the island’s easygoing lifestyle. Hemingway spent more than 20 years in Cuba and deeply loved the country for its Latin identity, the same identity that pervades and animates Cuervo y Sobrinos watches. Hemingway lived in Cuba at "Finca Vigia" for 20 years (from 1939 to 1960) and deeply enjoyed his time in his Caribbean refuge. While residing in Cuba, the literary genius often visited the Cuervo y Sobrinos boutique. Now, the watch brand known for its Latin soul has chosen to honor the American writer, a longtime and loyal customer of the company, with a new series of watches produced in collaboration with Hemingway Limited.
