Rebekah Chamberlin began her journey into jewelry a decade ago, moving to Portland Oregon from Washington to pursue a formal education as a bench jeweler specializing in fine jewelry fabrication and repair. After beginning her career in the jewelry field Rebekah soon realized her passion was in designing and crafting her own pieces; shortly thereafter The Winged Heart Studio was born. From the Northwest she moved to Stephenville the cowboy capital of Texas to continue her education; taking courses in western engraving and other traditional silver smithing techniques along with certification from the Gemological Institute of America. Recently relocating to Santa Fe and heavily influenced by the history and culture Rebekah’s work reflects her vibrant spirit and love of textiles, folk art, and Americana. Her work is often described as a fresh twist on western/south- western design with a touch of whimsy. Collectors from all over the world have sought and commissioned her work, and it has been featured in multiple publications including Cowgirl Magazine.
