Kit Carson’s jewelry profession continued to grow, adding sculpture and painting along the way. His specialty is engraved jewelry with a rainbow of gemstones, including high grade turquoise. The beauty and humor of animals is a constant theme in his work. Kit’s design style has an Art Nouveau filter that smooths out his line. His current line of jewelry is called Romantic Rust. This on-going series includes cuffs from license plates, chains, and bolo ties with hood ornaments. Each piece is one-of-a-kind-out-of-my-mind. "Art and I met up at an early age of about 9," says Kit Carson."By 18, I knew the path, and by 25, I was in the business."
